Margaret Veronica Nugent (nee Tobin) RN of Kelligrews, in her 79th year. Passed peacefully away at St. Clare's Hospital, surrounded by her loving family on September 8th. Predeceased by her husband 0f 51 years Alphonsus, parents Philip and Annie, sister Cynthia, and brother Pius. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her loving children, Sean (Barbara), Bryan (Connie), Angela (George Penney), Linda (Craig Duff), Sheila (Clayton Peach), seven loving grandchildren Zachary (Felicia), Rochelle, Rebecca (Matt), Kourtney (Riley), Joshua (Gina), Austin, Raegan. Sisters Sheila and Doreen and brothers Bernard and Roger. Also her extended family at Admirals Coast Nursing Home. Margaret began her nursing career in 1956, after graduating from St. Clare's Mercy Hospital, she then started a family with her loving husband Phonse, while working as a nurse at Dr. Butler's office. In later years she worked at St. Luke's Home until she retired. Always a nurse at heart she lived every day to it's fullest surrounded by her loving children and grandchildren, family and friends. Cremation has taken place and at her request, there will be no visitation. Funeral Mass to take place at St. Edward's Church, Kelligrews on Thursday, September 11, 2014 at 930 AM. Interment to follow at the R.C. Cemetery, Kelligrews. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Edward's Parish, Kelligrews or The H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Clinic.
