Passed peacefully away Sept. 10, 2014 surrounded by family, Fern Beverly Stevenson, age 76. Predeceased by her husband Bill, parents Ellie and May, sister Eileen Shepherd and brother-in-law Dave Pike. Left with fond and loving memories son Geoff and wife Gail, 3 loving grandchildren Kelsi, Danielle and Cole. Special sister and best friend Glenda (Eugene) Smith, Phyllis Pike, brother Jim (Louise) Reid, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. Special friends Don and Cynthia Stevenson, Paul and Marilyn Bambrick and her "Bridge Girls"/ Thank you to all who supported Fern throughout her illness with visits, calls, messages and numerous kind gestures. Cremation has taken place. Visitation Wednesday, Sept.10, 2014 from 7-9 p.m, and Thursday Sept. 11, 2014 2-4 p.m and 7-9 p.m at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road. A celebration of life will be held at the Carnell Memorial Chapel, 329 Freshwater Road at 9:00 a.m on Friday, September 12, 2014.
