The death occurred peacefully at the Wedgewood Manor, Summerside, on Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2014, of Corinne Marie Arsenault of Summerside, aged 96 years. Corinne was born in Urbainville, to her late parents Tim and Loretta Arsenault. Beloved wife of the late Vernon Arsenault and loving mother of Sandra Durelle of Moncton, N.B., Des (Margaret), Janet (Tom) Carew, Norman (Helen MacKendrick) and Donald all of Summerside. She is lovingly remembered by her 13 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, Corinne was predeceased by her son-in-law Leonard Durelle, her brothers and sisters Sid, Leonard, Ernest, Leo, Bella, Irene, Exina, Madeline, Rita, and Aldea. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside, until Friday, Sept. 12, then to St. Paul's Church for a funeral mass at 2 p.m. Interment to take place in the church cemetery. Memorial donations in Corinne's memory to the Wedgewood Manor Fund or the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
