DAVIDSON, MYRTLE CHRISTINA ELIZABETH (KIDD) - Myrtle Christina Elizabeth (Kidd) Davidson passed away with family by her side on September 11th, 2014 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born in Ontario on May 27th, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Theodore and Irene (Scott) Kidd. She was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #93 as well as a lifetime member and past president of the Ladies Auxiliary. Myrtle is survived by her children, Ron Davidson of Lincoln, Arnold Davidson (Laurie) of Geary, Joan Brace (Randy) of Waasis, Cathy Mallet (Jervais) of Geary, John Davidson (Diane) of Geary, Betty McCoy (Danny) of Geary, and Elsie O'Neil (Mike) of Waterville, Sunbury Co.; 23 grandchildren; 17 great- grandchildren; son-in-law, Tom Ladderoute of Saint John; step-children, Joyce, and Christopoher and their families; sister, Dorothy Chaput (Dennis) of Petawawa, ON; brother, Roy Kidd of Pembroke, ON and sister-in-law, Pat Kidd of Ontario as well as nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents; her children, William Davidson and Lillian Ladderoute; brother, Elmer Kidd; her first husband (and father to her children), Harold Davidson and her partner, Herb Howe. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of 4SW for their kindness and compassion shown to Myrtle's family during this difficult time.
Visitation will be held at the Oromocto Funeral Home on Saturday, September 13th, from 7-9 pm and on Sunday, September 14th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The Ladies Auxiliary #93 will hold a tribute service at 7 pm on Sunday. A funeral service will be held in the Oromocto Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, September 15th, 2014 at 11:00 am with Rev. Michael Orser and Rev. Greg Sparkes officiating. Interment will be held in the Burton Cemetery. For those who wish, donations in memory of Myrtle may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or to the NB Heart & Stroke Foundation. www.oromoctofh.com
