Died peacefully on September 11, 2014, age 76, (born 18 July, 1938). Predeceased by her mother, Janet (Hoffe) Downer, 1995 and father, Wesley Downer, 1998. Leaving to mourn, husband, William Daniel Driscoll, and three sons, Paul Driscoll, Ottawa, Perry Driscoll (Diana) Torbay, and Andrew Driscoll (Doreen) St. John's; three grandsons of whom she was so proud, Richard Driscoll, Thomas Driscoll and their mother Colleen Dubois, Liam Driscoll and his mother Carla Driscoll. Three precious granddaughters Christina Driscoll, Jennifer Driscoll and Emma Driscoll. Two sisters, Janet Butler (John) Lower Sackville, NS., Ruby Legge (John), St. John's and four brothers, Donald Downer (Donna) Ottawa, John Downer, Ottawa, Robert Downer (Heather) St. John's, and Roger Downer (Pauline) St. John's. Also leaving a large number of nieces and nephews and a large circle of friends who were so supportive during her illness. Resting at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Rd. Sunday Sept. 14, 2014 2-4p.m. & 7-9p.m., and Monday Sept. 15, 2014 2-4p.m. Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday Sept. 16, 2014 at 10a.m from The Carnell Memorial Chapel.
