BOURQUE, CLAUDETTE - Claudette Bourque, 75, of Moncton, with her loving family at her side, passed away peacefully at The Dr. Georges L. Dumont UHC on Sunday, September 14, 2014. Born in Dieppe, she was the daughter of the late Andre and Celine (Gautreault) Goguen. Claudette was employed with Fabricville with over 20 years’ service; she enjoyed bingo, game shows, sewing and making handy crafts. Claudette will be sadly missed by her loving husband of 56 years, Paul Bourque; children, Kenneth Bourque (Michelle) of Steeves Mountain, Della Wynberg (Harry Jr.) of Moncton, Linda Myers (Darren) of Moncton, Louis Michel Bourque (Karen) of Cocagne, Andre Bourque (Monette) of Dieppe; grandchildren, Kristopher, Katrina, Jennifer, Joey, Matthew, Sarah, Celine, Adam, Tyler, Samuel and Gabriel; seven great-grandchildren; brother, Robert Goguen (Denis Forget) of Dieppe; her k-9 companion, “Missy”; several nieces, nephews and extended family members. In addition to her parents, Claudette was predeceased by her son, Michel (1969). Special thank you to the Palliative Care Team at the Dumont Hospital, for the compassion and care given to Claudette and her family during her illness.
Visitation will be held at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road (858-1995) on Wednesday, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. A service celebrating Claudette’s life will be held at Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, September 18, 2014 at 1:00 pm with Rev. Allison Carroll officiating.
