The death occurred at the Summerset Manor, Summerside, on Saturday, Sept. 13, 2014, of Ruby Cannon, of Summerside, aged 94 years. Born at Appin Road, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Florence (MacLeod) Cudmore. Survived by her daughter Ardene (Blair) Caseley, Spring Valley; Dale (Franci) Cannon, Summerside; by grandchildren Trent (Jody) Caseley, Kim (Toby) Arsenault, Tanya (Richie) Hughes, Terri (Bloyce) Thompson and Christopher (Ashley) Cannon; great-grandchildren Tyler, Cameron, Tristen, Sidney, Taylor, Alyson, Jenell, Bransen and Deandra; and by all her special nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband Edgar Cannon; stepson Lloyd Cannon; stepdaughter Ruth Crawford; sisters Mildred Ferguson and Nettie Leard; and by brothers Freeman, Sheldon and Maurice Cudmore. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, where funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. Interment in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Valley. No visiting hours by personal request. Memorial donations to the Prince County Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
