It is with great sadness that the family of the late Maxwell Skeard announce his passing on Saturday, September 13, 2014 at the age of 73 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, his wife Martha; sons Frankie (Denika) and Todd (Brenda); 4 step-children: Wilma, David, Stan (Cathy), and Derek (Deneen) Tobin; sister Jean (Reg) Allen; 11 grandchildren: Jordan, Kaitlyn, Stephen, Shawn, Heather, Hilary, Joshua, Jacob, Andrew, Lea, and Crystal; 3 great-grandchildren: Gavin, Lincoln, and Austin, as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. Predeceased by his son Craig and parents Susan & Francis Skeard. Friends may visit Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Tuesday between the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will take place on Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. from Country Haven Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Canon Roberta Woodman officiating. In keeping with Maxwell’s wishes, cremation will take place with interment at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
