It is with deepest sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Annie Josephine Breen on September 13, 2014 at the Hoyles Escasoni Complex. Predeceased by her husband William Breen (April 5, 1974); daughter Shirley Hickey (November 19, 1994); son - in - law William Hickey; parents John and Martha (Connors) Stamp; sisters Mary and Bride; Brothers Edward and Ron and Kevin and niece Isabel (Bill). Leaving to mourn daughters Elizabeth Cole (Roy - deceased), Patricia Brown (Cyril - deceased), Nancy Eddy (John), Mary Warren (Allan), Linda Taylor (Len) and Carol Anne Mercer (Ken); sons William Jr. (Veronica), Daniel (Sheila), Leonard (Karen) and Kevin (Bonnie); 42 grandchildren; 52 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren, as well as other relatives and friends. Our gratitude and thanks for the wonderful care she received from the staff at West 1. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road on Monday and Tuesday from 12 noon - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at 9:30 a.m. from St. Patrick's Church. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers accepted or donations may be made to the Hoyles Escasoni Complex Foundation Fund.
