SAVOIE, MICHAEL JOSEPH FREDERICK – The death of Michael J.F. Savoie of Saint John, N.B., husband of Kathy (Clark) Savoie, occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Sunday, September 14, 2014. Michael was born in Saint John on December 5, 1954 and was a son of the late Exilia Savoie. He was a lifelong resident of Saint John and until illness prevented, was employed at Sobeys McAllister Mall. He was predeceased by two brothers, Gilbert and Louis. Besides his wife, he is survived by his children Mary Lynn, Shawn and Sarah, his step children John and Melissa, his brother Wilgard, and several nieces and nephews, as well as many friends including his special friends Barb and Doug Maxwell.
Mike is resting at Brenans Funeral Home 111 Paradise Row (634-7424). Visiting hours are Wednesday, September 17, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. The funeral service will be held from River Cross Church, 61 Forbes Dr., on Thursday, September 18, at 11 A.M. Interment will take place at St. Joseph’s Cemetery at a later date.
