McFARLANE, MARCIA ROSALINE (BURNS) - June 13, 1939 - September 10, 2014 - It is with great sadness the family announces the death of Marcia Rosaline McFarlane of Burton, NB, Wednesday, September 10th, 2014 at the age of 75 at the Oromocto Public Hospital. Born in Nictaux Falls June 13, 1939. She was the daughter of the Late Norman and Muriel (Rees) Burns. Along with her parents, Marcia was also predeceased by her late husband Alexander McFarlane of Cape Breton, NS. Marcia is survived by her daughter Judith Marline Williams (Glenn) of Berwick, NS; sons Bryan Darrell McFarlane (Theresa) of Burton, NB and Robert Alexander McFarlane (Janet) of Aylesford, NS; brother, Robert Burns of Waterville, NB; sisters, Geraldine Yorke of Waterville, NB, Kathleen Bent of Waterville, NB, Pauline Copper of Ontario, Laura Leavitt of Aylesford, NS, and Loretta Connors of Rockland, NB. Marcia also leaves behind nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will take place in the Berwick Chapel at the Serenity Lindsay Annapolis Valley Funeral Home in Berwick, NS, on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow the service. Donations in Marcia’s memory can be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. www.oromoctofh.com
