HARVEY, DONALD ROBERT - July 1, 1928 - September 11, 2014 - Donald Harvey peacefully at Scarborough Hospital-Birchmount Campus, in his 87th year. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Joan (Patterson), their son Robert (Monique), daughter Janice and granddaughter Erin. He is also survived by his sister-in-law Lois, nephews Gerry and Donald and nieces Lori and Susan. Don was predeceased by his parents Robert B. and Gladys E. (McLaughlin) Harvey, brother Lloyd and step-mother Elena. Don was born in Fredericton, NB. He spent most of his adult life in Toronto, ON in the heavy equipment industry. In 1978, he established his own company, "Liftrain Services Inc.". In 1995, he sold the company and retired. Music played an important part in Don's life. He possessed an excellent bass voice and for many years was a member of the Fredericton Male Chorus. He was also a faithful member of St. John's United Church Senior Choir in Scarborough and Audrey McLeod's Serenata Singers.
Don's ashes will be interred in Fredericton, NB.
