Passed peacefully away at Hoyles-Escasoni on Sept. 15, 2014 at age 77 years. Predeceased by his parents Jack and Stella, brothers-in-law Gerald, Bill and Robert Stone and Gerald Greene and sisters-in-law Ruth Stone and Beryl Reid. Left with fond and loving memories his wife of 55 years Gertrude (Stone), sons Christopher (Bryn) and Robert (Abby), grandsons Robert and Nicholas, granddaughter Helen, sister Judy Snow, brothers-in-law Doug Donnelly and James Reid, sisters-in-law Jean Donnelly, Shirley Greene, Elizabeth and Joy Stone, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. Relatives and friends may visit the family at Carnell's Funeral Home 329 Freshwater Rd on Friday September 19 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Requiem Eucharist to be celebrated at the Church of St. Michael and All Angels, 75 Kiwanis Street (Kenmount Terrace) on Saturday September 20, 2014 at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to the St. Michael and All Angels Parish Choral Scholarship Fund, or, the Kidney Foundation of Canada.
