ROBINS, WAYNE C. - Wayne C. Robins, 69, of Moncton, with his loving family at his side, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Tuesday, September 17, 2014. Born in Halifax, NS, he was the son of the late George and Ethel (Bulmer) Robins. Wayne was a retired teacher at Bernice MacNaughton High School with 28 years’ service. His hobbies included bowling, painting, riding his motorcycle and socializing with his many friends, especially those at Read’s and the bowling lanes. Wayne will be sadly missed by his children, Matthew Robins (Amy) of Kamloops, BC and Meaghan Robins of Moncton; grandchildren, Nicholas and Kathryn; sisters, Dawn Robins (Skip Beairsto) of Summerside, PE and Lois Goguen (George) of Moncton; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Carol Ann (Irvine) (April 2000); and half brothers and sisters, Chuck, George and Shirley.
Visitation at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Friday from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. Celebration of Life Service for Wayne will be held at Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at 10:30 am, with Pastor Phil Seely officiating. Reception in the Funeral Home Reception Centre following the service.
