AUFFREY, RITA S. - 1926 - 2014 - Rita S. Auffrey, 88, of Villa Providence, Shediac and formerly of Dieppe, NB, passed away on Wednesday, September 17th, 2014, at her residence. Born in Moncton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Edouard and the late Euphémie (née: Landry) LeBlanc. She was a former member of Ste.-Thérèse Parish. She is survived by two daughters: Lucille Auffrey of Shediac and Phyllis (Bill) Cairns of Moncton; two sons: Ronald of Moncton and Gerard of Montreal, QC, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Edgar in 2005 and also by two brothers: Léo and Hervé.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (857-1901) on Monday from 2 pm until time of service. A Celebration of the Word will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home Chapel, on Monday, September 22nd, 2014 at 4 pm. Interment in Notre-Dame-de-l’Annonciation Parish Cemetery, Pré-d’en-Haut, NB. Donations to the Villa Providence Foundation or the Canadian Nurses Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
