YEOMANS, BERNICE - It is with deep sadness that we must announce the passing of Bernice Yeomans, age 83, of Sackville, formerly of Saint John, NB. Bernice passed away peacefully at the Sackville Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, September 17, 2014. Born in Saint John, NB, she was a daughter of the late Aubrey and Mary (Lonar) Hubley. Brought up in Saint John, NB, she was married there, and eventually moved to Moncton, Fredericton, Edmonton, and finally to Sackville. She was a member of Mission Church, Saint John, NB. She will be sadly missed by her husband William "Bill", Sackville, her children, Douglas (Marilyn), Edmonton, AB, Gregory (Jacqueline), Saint John, NB, Jane (Manual) Cerrato Yeomans, EARTH University, Las Mercedes de Guácimo, Costa Rico, Faye (Leslie) Hicks, Sackville and Frederick (Lori), Riverview, NB; nine grandchildren and a great-grandchild. The last surviving member of her immediate family, she was predeceased by brothers Cecil, Roy and Aubrey, and sister Blanche McLellan.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge St., Sackville, NB (506-364-1300). A funeral service will take place at St. Paul's Anglican Church with Archdeacon Reginald Stockall officiating, on Monday, September 22, 2014 at 2 pm, followed by a time of refreshment in the church hall.
