It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ethel Priscilla Randell (Gilbert) announce her passing on Wednesday September 17, 2014 at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital at the age of 91 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories and to celebrate her life, children: Roy (Charlene), Barbara (Lorne Pritchett), James (Sandra) and Pauline Warford; grandchildren: Paul (Rahel), Lisa, Mark and Amy Randell, John (Michelle) Pritchett, Elizabeth (Christan Murphy), Aaron (Krystal) and Ben Randell, Andrea and Laura Warford; great-grandchildren: Josiah and Maisy Pritchett, Annie and Charlie Murphy; brothers: George (Joyce), Clarence (Rhoda), and John Gilbert; sisters: Violet Gilbert, Ivy (Joe Roberts) and sister-in law Genova Gilbert; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Roy; parents John and Minnie Gilbert; step-mother Martha Gilbert; sisters: Annie Gardner (Orestes) and Marjorie Fiander (Ken); brother Max Gilbert and sister-in-law Marie. Visitation will be held at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Friday 7-9 p.m. and Saturday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will take place on Sunday, September 21, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Salvation Army Temple, O’Connell Drive with Major Lorne Pritchett and Major Roy Randell officiating. Interment will follow from Mount Patricia Cemetery. Flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Corner Brook Temple Women’s Ministry.
