Passed peacefully away at the Palliative Care Unit, Miller Centre, St. John's, Thomas Patrick Dooley (July 7, 1930 - September 18, 2014), son of the late Thomas and Josephine (Fahey) Dooley. Leaving to mourn his wife of 56 years, Barbara (McLeod) Dooley, son Tom and wife Lisa (Power), and daughters, Barbara and husband Gordon Newhook, Jo-Ann and husband John Calver, and Patricia and husband Loyola O'Brien, grand-children Ryan and Kierra Dooley, Emma Calver and Noah, Kathleen, Patrick and Daniel O'Brien, all of Newfoundland, and step-grand-children Tara Gerald and husband Mike (Alberta), and Mandy Davidson, husband Pete and son Rowan (Ontario). Also leaving to mourn sister Marie Pinkney (Ontario), brother Doug (Alberta), special brother Martin Clooney (Newfoundland) and their families, members of the McLeod and Clooney families and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Pre-deceased by four brothers, Gordon, Frank, Kevin and Harold, one sister Kay Krochter and their spouses, and foster-parents William and Bridget Clooney. Visitations at Caul's Funeral home, LeMarchant Road, on Saturday and Sunday from 12 noon - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral to be held on Monday, September 22, 2014 at 2 p.m. from Mary Queen of Peace Church, Torbay Road. Cremation to follow. Special thanks to Dr. Kamran and his staff at the HSC Cancer Clinic, Dr. Rideout, and the team at the PCU.
