STEEVES, JEANETTE M. - (1927 – 2014) - Jeanette M. Steeves, 87, of Moncton, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Wednesday, September 17, 2014. Born in Moncton, Jeanette was the daughter of the late Joseph and Ida (LeBlanc) LeBlanc. She was a retired secretary with Belanger and Roy Architects. Jeanette will be sadly missed by her brother, Alex LeBlanc (late Rita) of Moncton; sisters-in-law, Gloria Steeves (late Don) and Joan Steeves (late Wyn) both of Moncton; several nieces, nephews and extended family members. In addition to her parents, Jeanette was predeceased by her husband, Elton (Ike) L. Steeves (1997); infant brother and sister, Marguerite and Albert; brother, Lelice and wife Geraldine; brother-in-law Stan Steeves and wife Viola; and sister-in-law, Dot Steeves.
In honouring Jeanette’s wishes, no visitation hours. Funeral Mass celebrating Jeanette’s life will be held at Christ the King Roman Catholic Church, 300 Dominion Street, on Saturday, October 11, 2014 at 11:00 am with Rev. Jean-Guy Dallaire officiating. Reception to be held in the Christ the King Golden Age Club following the service. Interment to be held in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens.
