FOX, WILFRED E. – Wilfred E. Fox of Saint John passed away at home after a brief illness. Born February of 1933, he was the son of the late Percy and Helen J. (Harris) Fox. Wilfred is survived by his wife Carrie (Gordon) Fox of Saint John; sons Stephen of Moncton, James of Saint John, Peter (Connie) of Edmonton, AB and Andrew (Rhonda) of Sussex; daughters Deborah Davis (Ian) of Ontario, Judith Fox of Moncton and Catharine Fox-Roberts (Matthew) of Sussex; one sister Mary Fox of Fredericton; 12 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces, nephews and friends. Besides his parents, Wilfred was predeceased by nine brothers and five sisters. Wilfred owned and operated a contracting company called W.E. Fox Ltd. He was a jack of all trades, a skilled cabinet maker and he enjoyed building houses. He was also an active member of The Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visitation on Saturday, September 20th from 6 to 8 p.m. and Sunday September 21st from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral Service will be held from the Church of Latter-day Saints, 177 Manchester Ave Saint John West on Monday, September 22nd, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. Interment to take place at Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
