GAGNON, GARRY ALBERT - Garry A. Gagnon of Noonan, NB passed away by accident on September 20, 2014 at Upper Queensbury, NB. Garry was born in 1960 at Marathon, ON, a son of Nora (Reeleder) Gagnon and the late Albert Gagnon. He loved his family time, especially spending time with his little granddaughter Brooklynn. Garry loved being on his river lot on the St. John River, where he so looked forward to building his dream home. He worked as a business analyst with the Department of Health and had previously worked for more than twenty five years as a Lab Tech, then as a LIS co-ordinator at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Garry was a Fourth Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do and he taught Tae Kwon Do in Fredericton, Oromocto and Minto schools. He loved his animals Razz, Riley, Caissie and Maddie. He is survived by his wife, Karren (Coy) Gagnon; two daughters, Kimberly Whitlock, Fredericton, NB and Kayla Whitlock (Robbie), Kingsley Road, NB; a granddaughter, Brooklynn Bird; his mother Nora Gagnon, Upper Queensbury, NB; a brother, Stephen Gagnon (Karen), Southampton, NB; two sisters, Sandra Glazier(David), Nackawic, NB and Dianna Jean (Joce), Upper Queensbury, NB; his parents-in-law, Walter and Jeanette Coy, Penniac, NB; a brother-in-law, Dana Coy, Upper Queensbury, NB; a sister-in-law, Susan Coy (Russell), Acton, ON; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visiting hours will be held at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic, NB on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 from 12 noon until 2 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 2 p.m. from the funeral home chapel with Rev. Paul Legere officiating. A reception will follow at the funeral home.
