Delaney, Wayne Sydney 64, Bible Hill, passed away Tuesday, September 23, 2014 in the Halifax Infirmary, QE II, Halifax. Born in Truro, he was a son of the late Hiram and Alberta (Welch) Delaney.
He is survived by his wife Kelly (Bruce) Delaney of Bible Hill; son Jeffrey (Maggie) of Millbrook; daughter Shannon Delaney (Jaret) of Stewiacke; grandchildren Chanler, Koree, Kurtis, Taylor, Tiara, Miley, Remy; brother William Delaney “Bill” (Freda) of Truro.
He was predeceased by a brother Wilfred; grandson Riley; nephew Terry.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Mattatall~Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street Truro, from where visitation will take place on Friday, Sept. 26th from 2-3 pm followed by a graveside service at 3:30 in Crossroads Cemetery, Valley with Rev. Wayne Keddy officiating. A celebration of Wayne’s life will follow at the Truro Horseman’s Club, 288 Main Street, Bible Hill.
