The death occurred peacefully, surrounded by family, on Thursday, September 25, 2014 of Anne Read (nee Jenkins), age 74 years, following a courageous battle with cancer.
Best friend and beloved wife for 55 years of John L. Read, Dunedin, formerly of Borden. Loving mother of John Read, Karen (Rick) Cameron, Shelley Stewart and Joe (Christine) Read and special Nan to Adam, Matthew and Chelsea Cameron and Lisa, Jamie and Adam Stewart. Sister of Eileen Harris, June (Ralph) Cooke, Beth (Lorne) Elias, Garth (Betty) Jenkins, Ethel Jones, Jim (Flora) Jenkins and Ben (Gayle) Jenkins. Sister-in-law of George Read and Elizabeth (Gordon) Lehman. Dear aunt of numerous nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by parents, JB and Vivian Jenkins, and parents-in-law, Jack and Hazel Read.
No visitation or funeral service by personal request. If so desired, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Integrated Palliative Care Team or a charity of personal choice.
