Age 51, of Georgetown, wife of the late Russell Yorston, occurred on Thursday, September 25, 2014, at Kings County Memorial Hospital, following a courageous battle with cancer.
Born December 26, 1962, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Florence (Stevens) MacConnell.
Brenda is survived by her children, Jennifer Yorston, Mitchell Yorston; 15 grandchildren; numerous brothers and sisters; brothers and sisters-in-law; aunts, uncle, numerous nieces, nephews and special friend, Leonard Snook.
Resting at Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home, with visiting on Friday, September 26, 2014, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2014, at 11 a.m., from the funeral home chapel, with Rev. Stephen Thompson officiating. Interment to take place in St. David’s Cemetery, Georgetown.
