Brossart: Carolyn Ann Brossart passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Friday, September 19, 2014 at the Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon. The Prayers Service was held Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at 7:00 pm from Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church with Kathy Wanner officiating. The Funeral Mass was held Thursday, September 25, 2014 at 10:00 am from Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church with Father Richard Jasiak MSF officiating. The organist was Yolande Gorrill. The readers were Joyce Hoffman and Ron Lane. The Ushers were Doug Smith and Neil McCrie. The Pallbearers were Ty Brossart, Jordan Pleasance, Josh Pleasance, Larry English, Tim Litzenburger and Leo Mittermayr. The Interment Service took place at Hillcrest Cemetery, Swift Current, Sk. Carolyn is survived by her sons, Donald (Cecille) Brossart of Cranbrook, B.C. and David (Shelly) Brossart of Medicine Hat, AB.; her grandchildren TY and Morgan Brossart of Medicine Hat, AB.; brother Kenneth Anderson of Saskatoon; nephews Robert Anderson and Jeffrey (Vickie) Anderson of Saskatoon, Sk.; two special aunts, Joan Cunningham of Wakaw, Sk. and Gale Erikson of Spy Hill, Sk.; brothers-in-law Theodore (Anita) Brossart of Saskatoon and Henry Brossart of Allan, Sk.; sister-in-law Anna Marie Welder (Special Friend Walter) of Saskatoon and many other relatives. She was predeceased by her husband Arnold Joseph Brossart in 2004; her parents Clarence Anderson in 1969 and Katherine Jean Anderson in 2006. Carolyn was born on September 21, 1943 in Tisdale, Sk. In her late teen's she worked at a nursing home in Saskatoon before marrying Arnold Brossart from Allan, Sk. They were married May 7, 1962 in Allan Saskatchewan Carolyn and Arnold moved several times in the next few months and finally made their home in Pennant in May of 1963 and started their family business in 1968. In 1999 they retired to Swift Current. Carolyn was an active member in the community and volunteered at Swift Current Regional Hospital and Doc's Town. She was also an active member of the Red Hat and enjoyed attending the Royal Canadian Legion. Carolyn enjoyed the Arts, travelling, sports and spending time with her family. She will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by her family and friends. In her memory, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Warren's Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
