Patriquin, Charlotte Kay – 57, Truro passed away on Friday, September 26, 2014 in the Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro, surrounded by her family and friends. Born in Truro, she was the daughter of Fran Burgoyne-Jackson and the late “Keith” Graham and stepfather, Bill Jackson. Charlotte’s smiling face and demeanor touched so many lives and brought out the best in everybody she met. She enjoyed the presence of her entire family and friends at all times. Charlotte had an immense love for nature and the outdoors doing such things as gardening, hiking in the woods and geocaching with family and friends. She was employed for the last number of years at Home Hardware Distribution Center, Debert. Charlotte is survived by her husband, Kenneth “Lynn”; sons, Brent (Tara Mortenson), Onslow, Cory, Onslow; grandchildren, Stone, Alyssa, Tristen; sisters, Judith (Paul) Marsh, Dartmouth, Donna Graham, Great Village, Debbie (Kevin) Shipley, Truro; several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Special thanks to Palliative Care nurse, Sue Gibbons, Dr. Courtney Smith and VON Michelle Maillet and all other VON nurses for all the support and exceptional loving care for Charlotte permitting her to spend the summer at home. We also want to extend thanks to the amazing nurses and staff on the Palliative Care Unit at CEHHC led by Dr. David Henderson. Thank you to Drs. Roya and Michael Murray and Dr. Ryan Somers. Visitation will be on Thursday, October 2 from 6-8 pm with a celebration of life service on Friday, October 3 at 2 pm, both in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow Street, Truro with Rev.
