Boucher, Margaret Anne – 85, Hilden

It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that God has called for another angel. Margaret Anne Boucher (Johnston) passed away September 29, 2014 in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro surrounded by her loving family. She was born on March 25, 1929 in New Waterford, Cape Breton Island. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Leo; daughter, Barbara Boucher, Fall River; son and daughter-in-law, David and Patricia Boucher, Uxbridge, Massachusetts, USA; grandchildren, James, Amanda, Scott, Maria, Nicole, Ryan, Cassie, Matt and Dante. She was expecting her first great-grandchild, Riley. She was predeceased by her parents, James and Anna Johnston; sisters, Ella, Leona and Ruth; brothers, Merrill and Arthur. Margaret worked as a bookkeeper most of her life. She was employed for years at K-Mart in Acton, Mass. She enjoyed baking, traveling and playing cards with her friends and family. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren. “She will be missed!” A special thank you to the Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Palliative Care Unit, Dr. Henderson, John Gatto and all those who have been with us through this trying time. Also we would like to thank everyone for their prayers and support. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2 from 6-8 pm with Prayer Service on Friday, October 3 at 10:00 am, both in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow Street, Truro, Father Dariusz Miskowicz officiating.
