McMACKIN, DAVID - Mr. David McMackin of Sussex, passed away October 1, 2014 at the age of 71, he was the son of the late Joseph and Sarah (Meehan) McMackin and the husband of the late Bertha (Kay) McMackin. David is survived by his two children: Maureen McMackin-Daviault (Max); his son, Mark McMackin (Lisa); five grandchildren: Nevin, Kayden and Ava McMackin-Daviault and Carter and Marissa McMackin; four sisters; Mary Mahoney, Roberta Bourque (Ronnie), Donna McPhee (Mike), Barb Seely (Norman); six brothers: Jim (Ruth), Elward (Phyllis), Joe (Barb), Andy (Maureen), Pat (Ruby), Henry, as well as brother-in-law Bert Beyea, nieces and nephews. David is predeceased his sisters Anna and Josie and by two brothers: Bernard and Peter McMackin.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) where visitation will be held on Friday 6 to 8pm. A Celebration of David’s Life will be held from Wallace Community Chapel on Saturday, October 4, 2014 at 10:00 am.
