Nina Cusack

CUSACK, NINA A. - It is with profound sadness that we, the family of the late Nina A. Cusack, 77, of K. E. Spencer Memorial Home and formerly of Leslie St., Moncton, announce her passing at her residence on Tuesday, September 30, 2014. Born in Leamington, NS, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Lottie (Wright) Gilroy. Nina was formerly employed as a telephone operator in Nova Scotia, Mail Order Clerk with the T. Eaton Co. Ltd., Ward Clerk with The Moncton Hospital and was a member of West Lane Baptist Church. Active within her church, she was a member of the WMS, Mission Band, Board of Management and was Church Librarian. Her hobbies included painting, playing guitar, reading, bowling, skating and, following her retirement, travelling; but first and foremost was time spent with her friends and family. Nina will be sadly missed by her husband of over 22 years, Clarence “Ted” Cusack; daughter, Judy Levy (Ray) of Bedford, NS and son, Kevin Lunn (Pam Shanks) of Fredericton; stepchildren, Robb Cusack (Victoria) and Ron Cusack (Elizabeth ), both of Bridgewater, NS and Kim MacLaggan (Peter) of Riverview; grandchildren, Joshua Levy (Erin) of Bedford, NS and Zachary Levy of Toronto, ON; step-grandchildren, Rebecca, Hannah, Leah, Simon, Erin, Christopher, Jonathan, Samuel, Benjamin, Laura and Colin; sisters, Kathleen Parks (George) of Moncton, Alva Machum of Dieppe and Mildred “Millie” Munn (Walter) of Murray River, PE; several nieces, nephews and extended family members. In addition to her parents, Nina was predeceased by her first husband, Kenneth L. Lunn; brother, Russell Gilroy and sister-in-law, Joan. We will remember her for her kind and gentle ways. She made the best pies ever and always had several favorites ready to choose from. She treasured her family above all and will be remembered with joy and love.
