SHAW, MARIA I. - The death of Maria Shaw of Fredericton, NB, formerly of Boulardarie, Cape Breton, NS, occurred on Thursday, October 2, 2014 at York Care Centre. She was born on June 5, 1915 and was the last remaining member of her family. She is survived by one daughter, Anne Todd (Gil); two granddaughters, Shawna Keane and Laurel Colpitts, four great-granddaughters, Kailey and Allison Keane and Olivia and Madison Colpitts.
There will be no visitation by her request. A Memorial Service will take place in Drummond Memorial United Church, Boulardarie, Cape Breton, NS at a later date. Heartfelt thanks to her faithful visitors and staff at York Care Centre. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
