The death occurred peacefully at Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Thursday, October 2, 2014, of John Andrew MacDonald of Summerside and formerly of Grand River, aged 67 years. John was born in Grand River to his late parents Joseph and Catherine MacDonald. Beloved husband of Marie (nee Caissie) MacDonald and loving father of Jakki MacDonald (Latif Zamani) of Toronto, ON. Also lovingly remembered by his grandson Brohn and several nieces and nephews. Survived by his sisters Patricia MacDonald and Jean (Adrien) Gaudet, all of Summerside. Besides his parents, John was predeceased by his brother Robert. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside, until Monday, Oct. 6, for a funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 10:30 a.m. Interment to take place in St. Patrick¹s Cemetery, Grand River.
