The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Sunday, October 5, 2014, of Elmer "Al" Joseph Arsenault of Miscouche and formerly of Carleton, Lot #6, aged 78 years. Elmer was born in Carleton, Lot #6, to his late parents Frank and Josephine (nee Gallant) Arsenault. Beloved husband of Yvonne (nee Gallant) Arsenault and loving father of Glenn of Linkletter, Douglas of Halifax, N.S., Brenda Arsenault (Glenn Ford) of Mount Pleasant, and Michelle Woo (David) of Kitchener, ON. Also lovingly remembered by his 3 grandchildren Stephanie, Kyle and Jeremy, his brothers and sisters-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews. Survived by the following brothers and sisters: Liz MacNeill (Ray) of Toronto, ON., Agno (Joan) of Havelock, N.B., Eric (Paula) of Summerside, Marge Lynch (Bernard) of Portage and Paula Cooke (Alton) of Cape Wolfe and his sister-in-law Mildred Arsenault of Hamilton, ON. Besides his parents, Elmer was predeceased by his sister Susan MacDonald (Gene) and his brother Vincent. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside, until Wednesday, Oct. 8, then to St. John the Baptist Church, Miscouche, for a funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment to take place in the church cemetery. Memorial donations in Elmer's memory to the Prince County Hospital Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
