Lucas Abraham Joseph Grevase Fortune, 1 day old of Eskasoni, passed away Sunday, Oct. 5, 2014 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney.
He was the son of Joseph and Angeline (Marshall) Fortune of Eskasoni. He was a member of Holy Family parish, Eskasoni.
He is survived by a sister, Ella Jane Marshall at home; also by numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, extended family and by maternal and paternal grandmothers, Annie Catherine Marshall and Frances Hibbert; grandfather, Victor Anthony Doucette; great-grandmother, Annie Fortune and godparents, Selena and Malcolm Cremo.
Visitation will be after 7 p.m. on Friday at the Gabriel Center, Eskasoni. A committal service will take place at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Holy Family Parish Cemetery, Eskasoni with Fr. Martin MacDougall officiating.
