BORDAGE, CLAUDETTE - 1945 - 2014 - Claudette Bordage, 69, of Bouctouche, passed away peacefully at her residence on Wednesday, October 8, 2014. Born in Bouctouche, she was the daughter of the late Edmond and the late Elmire (Cormier) Allain. Claudette was employed with Tim Horton’s for a number of years. She will be sadly missed by her two daughters; Charline Murray (Stephen) of Saint John, NB and Ginette Bordage (Alcime Lanteigne) of Moncton, her four grandchildren; Andrew, Danielle, Melanie and Stephen, her two great grandchildren; Ian and Isabelle. She also leaves to mourn two sisters; Laurita Richard (Alcime) of Bouctouche and Geraldine Brown of Bridgeport, Conn, three brothers; Raymond of Milford, Conn, Donald of Whitby, Ontario and Normand (Marie) of Fredericton and several nieces and nephews. During her lengthy illness, Claudette was cared for at home by her sister Laurita, her nieces; Lisa (Philippe) and Monique Richard, home care workers Bernice and Lyne and the Extra Mural Staff. We are forever grateful. Claudette was predeceased by a sister, Annette and two brothers; Laurie and Ronald.
Visitations will be held at the Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de l’église in Bouctouche, on Monday, October 13th, 2014 from 2 to 4 and from 7 to 9pm and on Tuesday from 12:30 to 1:45pm. The Funeral Mass will be held in the Saint-Jean-Baptiste Roman Catholic Church on Tuesday, October 14th, 2014 at 2:00pm. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. In Claudette’s memory a donation can be made to the Vestiaire Saint-Jean-Baptiste or to the family.
