Hoare, Marion Margaret, 80 of Stellarton passed away October 11, 2014 at home.
Born in Stellarton she was a daughter of the late Frank and Myrtle(Murray)Shreenan.
Marion lived in Montreal during her younger years, later moving to Stellarton where she resided for most of her life.
She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, Stellarton.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Bernard, Stellarton;
sons, Bernie(Susan), Stellarton; Joe(Sherry), at home; grandchildren Margaret(Adam)MacBeth, Joe, Kelsey and Alyson, great-grandchildren Alex and Mia MacBeth, twin brother Burton(Delores)Shreenan, Lower Sackville; a brother Edward(Florence)MacKarney, Lyons Brook; brothers-in-law, Donnie(Kay)Hoare, Fraser’s Mountain; David(Sharon)Hoare, Abercrombie Road; sisters-in-law Joyce Campbell, New Glasgow; Marie Sibilde, Westville; several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by a grandson Bernie “Boo” Hoare, brothers Donnie Shreenan, Bob Shreenan, a sister Gloria Morrison.
Cremation to take place.
The family will receive visitors from 10-10:45am Wednesday at Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, Stellarton from where a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11am with Father Donald Boudreau presiding. Burial of ashes will follow in the parish cemetery.
Family flowers only. Memorial donations in memory of Marion may be made to the Aberdeen Hospital Palliative Care Society or to the Nova Scotia Heart and Stroke Foundation.
At this time the family would like to say a special thank you to Dr. Marion MacDonald, the Nurse’s, LPN’s and CCA’s on the 4th Floor of the Aberdeen Hospital as well to the Pictou County Von for the care shown to Marion.
