WHITE, AGNES - Agnes Eloise White passed away on October 11, 2014 at Kings Way Care Centre. Born on June 13, 1913 in Bellisle Creek, NB she was a daughter of the late Whitfield G. and Clara (Gray) Jones. Agnes was a true lady, in every sense of the word, she had a wonderful laugh, a quick wit and was very humorous. She was a great cook and enjoyed pickling. She loved her church, Glenview United, and was very active there. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Surviving her nephew and nieces, Gerald W. Jones (Barb); Colleen G. Sutherland (Bill); Phillip C. Jones; Edward L. Jones (Florence); Douglas G. Jones (Shirley) and Garth R. Jones (Hope) as well as many great nephew and nieces. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Cecil White; brothers, Percy G. Jones and Willard C. Jones; sister, Myrtle Downey.
Arrangements are under the care of Brenans Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, 634-7424. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 14, 10:00 a.m. at Brenan’s Chapel. Interment will take place in Shannon Cemetery, following the funeral service. Remembrances to the Glenview United Church or a charity of one’s choice would be appreciated.
