SEVECK, STEVEN HARTLEY - Steven H. Seveck of Temperance Vale, NB passed away October 12, 2014 at Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Steven was born at Fredericton, NB in 1961, a son of Donna (Billings) and the late Jack Seveck. Steven was an avid race car driver for over 25 years, both locally and at Speedway 660 in Geary. He coached hockey for many years and especially enjoyed watching his sons play hockey. Steven was an avid Boston Bruins Fan. He enjoyed camping, hunting, playing the spoons and attending Nascar Races. Steven was a member of the Masonic Granite Lodge. He is survived by his wife, Crystal (Bradley) Seveck; two sons, Tyler Seveck (Erin), Fredericton, NB and Brody Seveck (Lindsay), Temperance Vale, NB ; his mother Donna Billings (Lloyd) of Woodstock, NB; a sister, Pam Dore (Glendon), Southampton, NB; a half-sister, Shawna Chase (Derrick), Millville, NB; a sister-in-law, Melissa Seveck, Fredericton, NB; his parents-in-law, Garnet (Junior) and Joan Bradley, Temperance Vale, NB; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his brother, Wayne Seveck; his maternal grandparents, Hartley and Mildred Billings and his paternal grandparents, Frank and Hilda Seveck.
Visiting hours will be held at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic, NB on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16, 2014 at 2 pm from the funeral home chapel with Rev. Carl Brewer officiating. Interment at the Temperance Vale Cemetery.
