EATMON, IRVINE A. - The death of Irvine A. Eatmon, of Saint John, occurred unexpectedly at the Saint John Regional Hospital on October 12, 2014. He was a son of Irvine and Margo (Sharkey) Eatmon. He was a lifelong resident of the Saint John area and was a graduate of Simonds High School. He enjoyed spending time with his son and fishing. Irvine was an avid sports fan.
Besides his parents, he is survived by his son Jaxon; a brother, Scott (Amanda); a sister, Jill Eatmon; his maternal grandparents, Frederick and Edna Sharkey; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents Irvine and Gertrude Eatmon.
Irvine is resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424). The funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16, at 2:00 PM from Brenan’s Chapel. Visiting hours will be Wednesday, October 15, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. For those who wish, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
