Passed away on Sunday, October 12, 2014 at the age of 77 years. Predeceased by his parents Lionel and Gertrude, sisters Mett (Walcott Winter), Win MacLauchlan and by his son -in-law Jess Jensen, and mother and father-in-law, Elsie and Lance Heard. Leaving to mourn his wife and best friend Ruby, daughter Heather, son Andy, grandson Damian and fiancée Alecia. Also, brother-in-law, Les MacLauchlan, brothers and sisters-in-law of the Heard family, and nieces and nephews of the Winter, MacLauchlan and Heard families, plus a wide circle of friends. Cremation has taken place. Visiting will be held at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Wednesday October 15, 2014 from 9 - 11 a.m. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday in the Carnell Memorial Chapel at 11 a.m. Memorial donations in Arch's Memory may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
