Passed peacefully away on Saturday, October 11, 2014 at the Health Science Complex at the age of 74 years. Predeceased by parents: Charles and Elsie (Blackmore) Butler; brother Lloyd and sisters: Beryl and Joy. Left to celebrate the memory of her kind and giving spirit, her husband of 54 years James; children: Heather (Craig), Rob (Susan), Sandi (Perry), grandchildren: Jana (Caleb), Ryan, Robbie, Rachel, Maggie; great grandchild Eli; sisters: Florence, Kay; sisters and brothers-in-law: Grace, Alf, Oliver, Esther, Jane, (Walter); as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Ave. Mt. Pearl on Thursday, October 16, 2014 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral service will take place from the St. Johns Temple, 101 Torbay Rd, St. John's with the interment to follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Blackmarsh Rd on Friday, October 17, 2014 at 2:00pm.
