CARLISLE, KAREN ELIZABETH - The passing of Karen Elizabeth (Murray) Carlisle of Fredericton, NB, wife of Peter Carlisle, occurred on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital with family by her side. Born on December 11, 1954 in Tracadie, NB she was the daughter of Roberta (Harding) Murray and the late Blair Murray. In addition to her husband, Karen is survived by her daughter, Andrea Green (Jonathan); cherished grandchildren, Noah and David; siblings, Sharon Murray (Paul Hollins) and Robert Murray (Angela); sister-in-law, Karen Schick; brother-in-law, Burton Carlisle (Catherine); several nieces and nephews.
There will be no service by request of the family. Visitation will be held at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Thursday, October 16, 2014 from 7 to 9 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Fredericton Hospice Foundation or a charity of the donor’s choice. The family would like to thank all staff at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital Oncology Department and the Palliative Care Unit. A special thank you to the Extra Mural nurses and doctors.
