Claude Frederick Ellsworth Sr. of Rocky Harbour, currently residing in Deer Lake, NL, passed away at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, NL, on Tuesday, October 14th, 2014, at the age of 80 years. Leaving to mourn and celebrate the life of this great man with fond and loving memories his wife; Betty nee Payne, his children; Freddie (Donna), Melita, Barry (Jeannie), Claudine (Howard), Rick (Alice), Claude (Marlene), Angela (Ralph), Josephine (Scott), Trena, & Jason, his 17 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, his sisters; Sabina (Binnie) Joe Payne, & May (Curtis Bennett), Claude was predeceased by his children; Eugene & Forward, his granddaughter; Penny, his mother & father; Dot (Ethel) & Frederick Ellsworth, his brothers; Sidney, Max, Rufus, & Edgar, his sisters; Edith, & Bessie. Also a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, family and friends. The family will be receiving family and friends at Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake, NL, on Wednesday, October 15th, 2014, from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 pm, where also the funeral service will take place from on Thursday, October 16th, 2014, at 2: pm with Canon: Louise Richards officiating with the burial to follow at the family plot of the Anglican Church cemetery in Sally's Cove, NL.
