Age 93 of Halifax, passed away Sunday, October 12, 2014, in Northwood Centre. Born in Aguathuna, Newfoundland, he was a son of the late William and Mary (Moore) Archer. In his early years, Raymond worked at the Limestone Quarry in Aguathuna, followed by many years as a heavy equipment mechanic in Metro Halifax. He retired at the age of 72. Raymond is survived by stepson, Paul Curran (Helen); step-grandchildren, twins, Carolyn and Colleen; special niece; Eunice House. He was predeceased by his wife Laura; sisters, Mary Archer and Florence Blackwell; brothers, Gordon and Bernie. There will be a Private Family Service followed by Burial in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
