Passed away on October 13, 2014 peacefully with his daughters by his side at the Brampton Civic Hospital in his 85th year. Predeceased by his loving wife Peggy. Cherished dad of Tracy (John) Dziworoniuk and Karen Precious. Devoted grandpa to Matthew and Kelly. George will be remembered by surviving siblings Irma Pryor, Owen, Doug, Darrell, Ron & Roy Robertson. Predeceased by sister Mary McIntosh. Formerly from Truro where the family business “Robertson Candy” was founded and is still operational. George will be laid to rest at the Brampton Funeral Home & Cemetery on Friday, October 17, 2014.
