Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family on October 15, 2014. Mary Catherine Carew (St. Croix) nee Howlett aged 78 years. Predeceased by her parents Daniel and Isabella Howlett, infant sister Mary and infant son Paul. Leaving to mourn her husband Patrick Carew; Catherine's family: sons Wayne St. Croix (Gail), Ken St. Croix (Krista Clarke) and daughters Sharon (Harold Mullowney), Brenda (Ryan Giesler) and Kim (George Howlett) and father Brendan St. Croix, grandchildren Krista Hudson (Glenn), Terri Lynn Mullowney (Matthew Noble), Abby Montague, Ava Giesler, Robyn St. Croix (Nicole) Michael, Dale and Dawson Howlett, Michael Clarke and great grandson Curtis Hudson her brothers and sisters Gerald (Della) Howlett, Gertrude (Ron Vickers - deceased), John (Loretta) Howlett, Nora (Joseph Bergeron), Rose (Martin Vickers), Linda (Stan Doyle). Pat's family: Margie, Val, Geraldine, Irene, Stan, Bernadette, Ricky, Caroline and Gene. Also leaving to mourn a large circle of friends and family. Resting at Ryan's Funeral Home, Bay Bulls on Thursday, October 16th and Friday, October 17th from 2 pm - 9 pm. Mass of Christian burial to take place from St. Patrick's R. C. Church, Witless Bay on Saturday, October 18th at 10:30 am. Inurnment to take place at St. Kevin's R. C. Cemetery, Goulds at a later date. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory can be made to a charity of one's choice.
