RICHARD, BEATRICE - 1918 - 2014 - It is with heavy hearts that the daughters announce the passing of Beatrice Richard, 96, of Monarch Hall, Riverview, formerly of Bromley Street, Moncton and Dieppe, NB, passed away on Friday, October 24th, 2014, at her residence. Born in Moncton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and the late Lena (née: Boudreau) LeBlanc. Mrs. Richard was the owner/operator of Mountain Rd. Grocery. She was an avid bridge player and was a member of Sainte-Thérèse parish. She is survived by six daughters: Jeannette (Fred Hachey) Richard, Sylvia (Paul) Cormier, with whom she resided for over 12 years, both of Dieppe, Roberte (Laurie) ”Farmer” Gautreau, Stella Richard (special friend, Dave), both of Moncton , Yvonne (Jacek Zarczynski) Richard of Halifax, NS and Corinne Richard (George), of Dieppe; one sister, Doris (late Arthur) Richard of Shediac; one brother, Robert “Bob” (Jackie) LeBlanc of Moncton; six grandchildren: Rejean, Serge, Renée, Bruno, Brigitte and Benoit; 10 great-grandchildren; special nieces: Claudette, Rose-Marie, Lorraine, Florence, Alice, Jackie, Pauline and Diane, as well as her godson, Norman “Hawkeye”.
She was predeceased by her husband, Albert in 1990; one daughter, baby Marguerite; two sisters: Lucina and Yvonne and also by one brother, Georges.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (857-1901) on Sunday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and also on Monday from 10 am until time of departure.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Sainte-Thérèse Roman Catholic Church, Dieppe, NB, on Monday, October 27th, 2014 at 11 am.
Interment in Notre-Dame-du-Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe, NB. Donations to the Alzheimer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. www.chartersville.com
