MCCARTY, SANDRA EILEEN - The passing of Sandra Eileen McCarty occurred peacefully on Monday, September 22, 2014 at the Grant Brandts Mews, Kelowna, BC, with family by her side. Born in Fredericton on August 2, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Lillian McCarty. Sandra is survived by seven sisters: Loretta, Georgina, Doreen, Rose Marie, Judy, Valerie and Christine; eight brothers: Thomas, Robert, Harold Jr., Gerald, Read, Brian, Wayne and Roger; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by infant daughter Sherry; sisters Betty Ann and Barbara; brother Joseph.
A funeral service with family and friends will take place on Thursday, October 30 at 1:00 PM at St. Margaret’s Anglican Church, 775 Forest Hill Road, with Rick Robinson officiating. Interment will take place in St. Anthony’s Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
