COMEAU, CHARLES - Charles William Comeau, age 83 of Amherst, Nova Scotia passed away October 27, 2014 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Saint John, N.B. he was the son of the late William and Flossie (Fillmore) Comeau. His lived in Nappan, Nova Scotia for the majority of his life moving to Amherst in 2006. Charles is survived by his wife Pauline, children Theresa (Bob) Ellis, Gerald (Sandy) Comeau, of Amherst, Stephen (Sylvie) Comeau of Dartmouth, N.S., Paula (John) Carmont of Mount Pleasant, N.B. and Mary Comeau (Colin MacDonald) of Nappan, 13 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his sister Mildred and a brother Frank.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 30, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. with parish prayers at 8:30 p.m. all in Campbell’s Funeral Home, Amherst, NS (902-667-9906) Funeral Mass will be held on Friday at 10 a.m. from Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, Amherst.
