Passed peacefully away at the Rufus Guinchard Health Centre in Port Saunders on Oct. 11, 2014, Ms. Mary Emma Wilcox of Roddickton, in her 57th year. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her daughter Patti Canning; son-in-law Barry Canning; family members Augustus, Matilda, Melissa, Valance and families, Tyson (Caryn and Brett), Goose Bay, Jason (Candace, James, Arrick, Kiyerria), Devon, Alberta, as well as a large circle of other family and friends. She was predeceased by her mother Ethel Hancock, her father Shem Hancock and her twin sister Minnie Hancock. Visitation was held at the Calvary Pentecostal Temple in Roddickton on Tuesday from where the funeral service took place at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 15 with Pastor Benjamin Brown officiating. Interment followed at the church cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Homes, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Siobhan Mauger, funeral director.
