FLECK, Barry Michael – 53, Truro, passed away Friday evening, October 31, 2014, in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born March 3, 1961, in London, Ontario, he was a son of Betty Forbes, Cedarstone Enhanced Care, Truro, and the late Russell Fleck. Barry had worked at Crossley Carpets and Service Master, and in earlier years, enjoyed fishing. He loved people and a good conversation, had a great love for animals and was able to fix almost anything because of his keen mechanical instincts. Along with his mother, Barry is survived by his brother, Gary (Delia) Fleck, Bible Hill; special uncle and friend, Alfred Fielding, Truro; several other aunts, uncles and cousins. Along with his father, he was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Alfred and Verta Fielding; paternal grandparents, Charlie and Bertha Fleck. Arrangements have been entrusted to Mattatall – Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro, where the funeral service will be held 2 p.m., Wednesday, November 5, 2014, Pastor Terry Black officiating. Reception will follow. Interment in Terrace Hill Cemetery, Kaulback Street. If so desired, donations in Barry’s memory to a charity of choice are welcomed.
